Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, voluntarily participates in the accreditation process offered by the Joint Commission. CMH is surveyed approximately every three(3) years. Survey visits are unannounced.
The purpose of these surveys is to evaluate the hospital’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards and facilitate the hospital’s continuous operational improvement. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded the hospital. Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
